My fear(s): Snakes, spiders, heights, and losing a loved one.

I sat in the chair, bound, as the man brought out a box. The man was someone that I never met before, and he wore a mask and a suit to conceal his identity. We were in the back of a semi trailer.
"Syman, do you know what's in this box?" He asked. I shook my head. He raised the lid off of the box, reached in, and pulled out a snake. I stared as the man pulled out a Eastern Ribbon Snake from the box. I knew that it wasn't poisonous, but it still made my skin crawl. He started to move towards me, and I started to strain in my bindings. The man put the serpent on the floor, so I moved to raise my feet. To my dismay the man had tied my ankles to the legs of the chair.
"Why are you doing this to me?" I asked. My tormenter didn't reply. He only removed an Eastern Garter from the box. He moved forward, and put the snake in my lap. I quickened my breathing, and my heart rate increased. The Eastern Ribbon was making it's way to my feet, and looked as if it were smiling maliciously; I sat there staring at it and the snake coiled in my lap.
The man put the lid back on the box, and grabbed another one. He came to stand next to me, removed the lid from that box, and all I could do was think that it was more snakes. The man dumped it's contents onto me, and what felt like a thousand spiders fell onto me. I started to feel like I was going to cry when the truck suddenly stopped. I heard the door of the cab open and slam shut. A few moments later the door to the trailer opened up, and light flooded in. Another man came in, and tied a blindfold over my face. I soon felt myself being lifted up, and moved. The spiders were moving about inside my shirt. The snake that was in my lap had coiled itself around my left leg. I felt the wind smack my face, and I could smell wild flowers. In the distance I could hear a river, and could also hear the crunch of rocks under the feet of the men. They sat me down, and removed the blindfold.
As my eyes adjusted I started to feel a sickening dizziness come to me, for I was set down on the precipice of a cliff. I quickly looked away, and when I did I saw that my friend, Michelle was also bound to a chair. She was wearing jeans, and a black t-shirt. Her long hair was being blown in the wind, and some of it was sticking to her face. I could tell that she had been crying.
"They got you as well Syman?" She said. I didn't answerer her, for I knew that it was rhetorical question. One of the men stood behind her, lifted her chair, and pushed her over the edge of the cliff. My heart sank, and I started to cry.
I woke up drenched in sweat, and was relived that it was all just a dream. My phone rang, and I answered it. It was one of my other friends calling to tell me that Michelle had died.
